Bakulic Wins Over 60s Singles

George Bakulic has again emerged victorious in the Over 60s Singles Championship for 2023/24. It was a tight battle between two good mates, with Julio Posadas, George’s opponent, jumping out to 12-4 lead on 11 ends.

George, now a four time winner of the event, fought his way back to take the lead 16-14. This ding-dong battle saw Julio regain his momentum, taking the score our to 18-16 in his favour. However, this is when the Champion took charge of the fixture, sprinting out to 24-18 lead and eventually taking the honours 25-19.

Both gentleman carried themselves exceptionally and delivered a fantastic spectacle of a final.
